Talk to us
Bring the viewbook you are working on right now
There is no form on this site, no trial to start and nothing to buy. What there is, is a conversation, and the fastest version of it starts from the piece of collateral currently on somebody’s desk.
Bring one of these
The prospectus in progress. Walk us through where each photograph came from and what you believe you have agreement for. Ten minutes on a real document establishes more than any requirements list, and frequently surfaces something worth knowing regardless of whether we work together.
Your enrolment contract, as it actually reads. Not a summary — the clause. Most contracts do tier-one uses well and assume they cover more than they do.
The complaint you had about a photograph. Every school in this sector has had one. What it was about, how it was resolved, and how long it took tells us what your families expect.
Which grades you actually teach. If you span the age line, say so early. It is the single fact that changes the most on this site.
Three things we will say before you ask
One. Your contract does not lift the age floor. If your marketing plan depends on public imagery of under-thirteen students, this will not do it and nothing will.
Two. A group photograph with one refusal is withheld from everybody, with no crop-or-blur option. Your families will have views about that.
Three. There is nothing to buy. The platform is free to the school and live payment is not turned on, so there is no procurement conversation to prepare.
Any of the three is a legitimate reason to stop, and it is much better reached in the first meeting than in the second term.
What a second conversation usually is
Not a demonstration. A working session against your own roster and one real piece of collateral, because the only useful question is whether this survives your admissions calendar rather than ours.
Two things get established. What proportion of your existing collateral would still be usable under a system that actually enforces the rules — the answer is frequently uncomfortable and always informative. And how quickly your office can get at material in the week an open morning is announced, which is the operational test that decides whether anything gets adopted.
If either answer is bad, better to find it in a session than after you have taken it to a head or a board. Independent schools are a small world and a bad adoption travels.
About the conversation itself
Is there a trial?
Not a self-serve one. Setting this up against a real roster is work rather than a signup, and a demonstration against invented data would tell you nothing about the thing that matters, which is what happens to your existing collateral.
Should our head or board be involved?
Not in a first conversation. There is nothing to buy, so there is no approval to seek, and the useful first exercise is an operational one your office can do alone. If it goes further, the constraint at the top of this site is the thing a head will want to hear about, and it is better delivered by you than by us.
We are mid-year with a prospectus at the printer. Bad timing?
A fine time to talk and a bad time to change anything. If a document is at the printer, finish it. What is worth doing now is establishing what your next cycle can rely on, because collateral decisions are made a long way in advance.
Do we have to decide anything at the end?
Only whether there is a second conversation. There is no purchase at the end of this and no procurement step to prepare for.
Where it happens
Through the platform’s own front door at homeroom.software, where a person at Stanley Studios picks it up. This site collects nothing from you: no form, no address to hand over before you can read anything.
What follows is a conversation rather than a sequence, and there is nothing to buy at the end of it. That is the actual state of the product, not a soft close.
